2017 Greystone Mansion Concours Features Centennial Lincoln Class
Greystone Mansion, the historic Doheny estate in Beverly Hills, will host its 8th annual namesake concours on Sunday, May 7, 2017.
In association with the city of Beverly Hills, the Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance is proud to announce “100 Years of the Lincoln Automobile” as the featured class at its 8th annual concours on Sunday, May 7th, 2017. The exhibit will feature examples of rare and significant Lincolns culled from private automobile collections throughout Southern California. These cars include many that are rarely seen in public and will illustrate the history and significant milestones of the Lincoln automobile founded by Henry M. Leland in August of 1917.
Iconic and historic period Lincolns will rule the day poised against the dramatic backdrop of the grand Tudor Revival Greystone Mansion designed by renowned architect Gordon Kaufman for the Doheny Family in 1928.
The Greystone Manion Concours d’Elegance, now in its 8th year, is a day-long festival, an exhibition of 130 collector automobiles and motorcycles, and includes access to the mansion, food, drink and entertainment. Proceeds from the Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance benefit the Friends of Greystone; a community based non-profit 501(c)3 dedicated to the maintenance and authentic restoration of theGreystone Mansion’s rooms and interior spaces.
